The Kathmandu Valley offers an unparalleled collection of world-class palaces, hidden backyard shrines and sublime temple art while the national parks offers nature lovers a view of the subtropical treetops for exotic bird species and the jungle for rhinos, tigers and crocodiles.
Nepal is home to some of the most beautiful and accessible treks in the Himalayas but there are also other adrenaline pumping activities like rafting down a roaring Nepalese river or bungee jumping into a yawning Himalayan gorge which draws in visitors to this Himalayan Kingdom.

Itinerary
Your trip to Nepal begins on your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You would be met by our local representatives and welcomed in a traditional Nepali style of welcoming guests. You would then be transferred to the hotel followed by the check in formalities and then given a brief about the itinerary for the next 7 days. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Today you can begin your cultural discovery tour of Nepal with a city tour of Kathmandu, the nerve centre of Nepal. The first stop is at the legendary Pashupatinath temple, followed by a stop at the largest stupa in the world, the Boudhanath Stupa. Built in the fifth century, it is the best place to observe the Tibetan lifestyle, culture and religious practises of the monks. It is also a popular place for shopping for Tibetan jewellery and artefacts, hand-woven rugs, thanka, masks, and other Tibetan products. The next stop is at the Patan Durbar Square - the centre of fine arts. As you pass the whitewashed gate, you enter a square lined with cafes, food shops and huge iron bells and beyond the lanes are the city's mostly mediaeval quarters. Temples and stupas abound, in various shapes, sizes and antiquities. The last stop is at Swoyambhunath Stupa, also called the "Monkey Temple" because of the large monkey population that lives in the area.

After breakfast, you begin your trip with a beautiful drive to Pokhara. The route offers views of rivers, terrace crops, and a mesmerising vista of the Annapurna range as you get closer to Pokhara—a picturesque lake city. En-route, enjoy a cable car ride to the Manakamana Devi Temple. The rest of the evening is free for you to unwind by the lake or take an evening stroll through the city.

Today you get to watch the most spectacular sunrise over the panoramic vista of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu mountain range by taking a short drive to Sarangkot at the crack of dawn. For the adventure seekers, paragliding is an option available on request at Sarangkot. Proceed back to the hotel for breakfast.
Post breakfast, you embark on a sightseeing tour of Pokahara. The first stop is at the Bindhabasini Temple to pay a visit to Goddess Durga, the divinity of tremendous might. The next stop is at Davis Falls, or "Patale Changgo" as it is known as in Nepali. The uniqueness about this subterranean waterfall is that the water forms a 500 feet long tunnel after reaching the bottom and this tunnel runs 100 feet below ground level. Next stop on the itinerary is the 16th century Mahadev Cave, often referred to as Gupteshwor Cave, located opposite to Davis Falls. It is a limestone cave containing stalagmites and stalactites and with many shrines and statues dedicated to Shiva and other Hindu deities. The last stop is at the Seti River Gourge in the centre of the city of Pokhran. From Mahendra Pul, you get to view how the mighty pases on its winding course through the city of Pokhara. Rest of the evening is at leisure.

Today, post breakfast, you head towards Chitwan, Nepal's first national park and one of the eight UNESCO world heritage sites (180 km, 4-5 hrs drive). Here you enjoy a variety of jungle activities over the course of two days that will take you far into the jungle and bring you closer to the wild as you search the jungles for tigers and rhinos.
In the evening you get to enjoy a special cultural performance by members of the indigenous Tharu group followed by dinner.
Overnight stay in Chitwan.
The day begins with a jungle safari, along with several other jungle activities. You enjoy a canoe ride on the tranquil Rapti River to get some stunning views of aquatic birds, crocodiles, and alligators in their natural habitats. After the Safari, you visit a nearby Tharu village to get a close look at this indigenous people's way of life and habitat. The brave-hearted can request for a guided jungle hike to get an first-hand experience of the jungle amidst the howls and roars of it’s inhabitants.

After a hearty breakfast, you proceed for your trip back to Kathmandu by car. Once arrival, you are then transferred to Nagarkot (32 km, 1.30 hrs drive). Check into the hotel at Nagarkot on arrival. Rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the panoramic view of eastern mountain ranges.
Overnight stay in Nagarkot.
Your journey to the Himalayan kingdom comes to an end today. After breakfast, you would be dropped back at the airport for your onward journey. The mystic land of the Himalayas holds many more secrets to be told. Do plan to come back again for another adventure to this Himalayan paradise.
