Itinerary

Upon arrival in Shiraz, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in and rest after your journey. Overnight in Shiraz.

Today is dedicated to exploring Shiraz, the city of poets, gardens, and culture. Visits include the stunning Nasir al-Molk Mosque (the “Pink Mosque”), Narenjestan-e Ghavam mansion, Vakil Bazaar and Vakil Mosque, the Pars Museum, and the historic Karim Khan Fortress. You will also stroll through the Eram Botanic Garden and end the day at the Mausoleum of Hafez, the beloved Persian poet. Overnight in Shiraz.

A full-day excursion outside Shiraz takes you to the grand ruins of Persepolis and its museum, the ancient rock tombs at Naqsh-e Rostam, and the UNESCO-listed Pasargadae, home to the tomb of Cyrus the Great. Return to Shiraz for overnight.

Depart Shiraz for Kerman, with sightseeing stops en route at the Sarvestan (Sasanian) Palace and the historic Mosque of Neyriz. Arrive in Kerman and check in at your hotel. Overnight in Kerman.

Discover the highlights around Kerman, including the Shazdeh Mahan Garden, the imposing mud-brick Arg-e Rayen citadel, and the surreal landscapes of the Shahdad Desert with its famous Kalouts. Overnight in Kerman.

Start the day with visits to the Towers of Silence and the Zoroastrian Fire Temple in Yazd. Continue towards Isfahan with stops in Meybod to see the ancient Narin Castle, the caravanserai, and the ice house (Yakhchal). Arrive in Isfahan in the evening. Overnight in Isfahan.

Spend the day exploring the majestic city of Isfahan. Highlights include the UNESCO-listed Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Shah Abbasi Mosque, and Ali Qapu Palace. Another day in Isfahan takes you to the Atiq Congregational Mosque, the Armenian Vank Cathedral in the Jolfa neighborhood, Hasht Behesht Palace, and the Music Museum. Later, shop at the Grand Bazaar and enjoy sunset views at the Khaju Bridge. Overnight in Isfahan.

Depart for Tehran, stopping in Kashan to explore the Fin Garden, Tabatabaee House, Soltan Amir Ahmad Hammam, Aqa Bozorg Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar. On the way to Tehran, visit the Imam Khomeini Mausoleum before arriving at your hotel. Overnight in Tehran.

Discover the capital with visits to the National Museum of Iran (both Pre-Islamic and Islamic sections), Shahr Park, Tehran’s Grand Bazaar, and the UNESCO-listed Golestan Palace. In the evening, stroll through Water & Fire Park and across the modern Nature Bridge. Overnight in Tehran.
