Itinerary

Upon arrival in Istanbul, meet your representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the city on your own. In the evening, around 7 PM, you'll be transferred to the port for a Bosphorus Dinner Cruise. Enjoy a gourmet dinner while taking in panoramic views of the Bosphorus, which separates Europe and Asia. You'll see historic landmarks such as Dolmabahce Palace, Rumeli Fortress, and Maiden's Tower. The dinner includes an open buffet or fixed menu, unlimited local alcoholic drinks, and Turkish coffee. After the cruise, you'll be dropped off at your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Begin your exploration of Istanbul with a visit to the Hippodrome, known for its four monuments: the German Fountain of Wilhelm II, the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpentine Column, and the Walled Obelisk. Next, tour the Hagia Sophia Mosque, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture once the largest church in the world, famous for its 6th-century mosaics. Continue to Topkapi Palace, the grand residence of Ottoman Sultans, housing exquisite collections of crystal, silver, porcelain, and the famous Kasikci Elmasi diamond. Visit the Sultanahmet Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque, renowned for its blue Iznik tiles. In the afternoon, explore the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 streets and over 4,000 shops. Please remember to carry a scarf for visiting the mosques. Note that the Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays; if your tour falls on this day, you'll visit the Spice Bazaar instead. Overnight in Istanbul.

After breakfast, embark on a tour that explores the iconic landmarks of Istanbul. Visit the City Walls, which were breached by the Fourth Crusade in 1204 and later by Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1453. Drive across the Bosphorus Bridge, a unique opportunity to travel from Asia to Europe. Continue to Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer residence of Ottoman Sultans, with its original furniture and stunning gardens, including the Harem on the Asian side. Overnight in Istanbul.

Transfer to Istanbul Airport for your flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival in Kayseri, meet your guide and drive to the Cappadocia region. Begin your Cappadocia adventure with a visit to the Goreme Open-Air Museum, home to rock-cut churches with Byzantine murals. Continue to Uchisar Fortress for panoramic views of the Cappadocia landscape. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Cappadocia.

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to Uc Guzeller to see the famed fairy chimneys. Explore Devrent Valley, known for its varied fairy chimneys, and Pasabagi (Monk’s Valley), where you'll see fairy chimneys with multiple stems and caps. Visit a chapel dedicated to St. Simeon and a hermit's shelter. After lunch at a local restaurant, tour the Ozkonak Underground City, used by early Christians during times of persecution. Continue to Cavusin, an ancient monastic settlement, and Avanos, known for its pottery. Enjoy a visit to Pigeon Valley, a top spot for photography. Return to your hotel in Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Spend your final morning relaxing at your hotel before being transferred to Kayseri Airport for your homeward flight.
