You will be met at the Cochin International Airport and transferred to your prebooked hotel in Cochin.Its name itself brings up thoughts of fishing nets, spices, Ayurveda and ships sailing over the blue sea. Appearing to be growing daily and different from the rest of Kerala, it’s a fusion of traditional and modern cultures. With skyscrapers touching the sky on one hand against the shadows of the majestic Fort, Kochi is everybody’s delight. Interestingly, the common factors between both these worlds are the red city buses, yellow auto rickshaws and ever-friendly people. From old times, the city has been host to Arabs, Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese, French and the British traders who also came here to admire this piece of beauty, Kochi is the best starting point to explore God’s own country, since most famous places in Kerala are here, close to each other. Following breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kochi which will include the Basque Da Gama Square, the Basilica of Santa Cruz, the San Francisco Church, the VOC Gate, the Bastion Bungalow, the Jewish Synagogue, and the Mattancherry Palace. Learn how Chinese built teak and bamboo poles work on the principle of balance when operating fishing nets. Records indicate that it was established between 1350 and 1450. Basque Da Gama Square, the narrow promenade that parallels the beach is the best place to watch the nets down and pulled out of the sea, overnight stay at the hotel.
Check out and depart to Munnar, Munnar" means three rivers. 3 mountain streams (Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala) are joining together here. During the British rule in India, Munnar was the summer resort of the Government officials. The natural beauty, calmness and mild cold climate throughout the year make it a favorite tourist destination. There are about 30 tea plantations in and around Munnar. The tea estates, hills, lakes and forests inside Munnar range encompass its beauty. The Munnarhills are covered by tea plants, which give a feeling of seeing a wide green carpet.
Today you’ll visit one of the Tea plantations that decorate the pretty hills of Munnar. Learn about the history of the area and the process of making tea and coffee from the first shoots of the green plants to bagging and distributing all over the world. In the afternoon, you could take a hike through the misty plantations or simply relax and your hotel and enjoy the cool breeze high up in the hills. Afternoon visit the Rajmalai Wild Life sanctuary - this is the only sanctuary in India where Indian Ibex's are found, followed by a visit to Kannan Devan Hills. From here you can have a panoramic view of MunnarTea Estates & the Lake of Munnar. Overnight stay in Munnar ( Rajamalai national park is closed from January till March)

The periyar wildlife sanctuary - Lying close to the plantations, in the rich jungles of periyar in thekkady is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves - the periyar wildlife sanctuary, spread across 777 sq km, of which 360 is thick evergreen forest, the periyar wildlife sanctuary was declared a tiger reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the mullaperiyar dam across the Periyar river adds to the charm of the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. After breakfast, start your drive to Thekkady (Periyar), and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Later in the evening enjoy the colourful performing art – Kathakali Dance.

Post breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Periyar. Set high in the ranges of the Western Ghats in Kerala, is the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. Periyar wildlife sanctuary has a picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary. Herds of playful wild elephants have made Periyar Lake their favorite haunt for frolicking in the water. They can be witnessed bathing and swimming here. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to view the wildlife at close quarters. Other inhabitants of Periyar include the leopard, wild dog, barking deer, mouse deer, Nilgiri langur, bonnet macaque, sambhar, porcupines, squirrels, gaur (Indian bison), wild boar, and sloth bear. Later, take a spice plantation tour. The aroma and pleasant ambiance of the spice and tea plantations of Periyar are fascinating. Spices found in Thekkady include pepper, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric, vanilla, and curry leaves. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
After breakfast, Proceed to Alleppey backwaters, Check in at the houseboat Enjoy the magic of backwater by going on a Houseboat (Rice barge ) cruise across the backwaters. Spend the next 22 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life at close quarters; a unique and unforgettable experience. visit QST R block Kayal in Kuttanad, called the rice bowl of Kerala because of her wealth of paddy crops,is at the very heart of the backwaters. In Kuttanad, the scenic countryside with its shimmering waterways is also home to a rich banana, cassava, and yam crop..This is perhaps the only region in the world where farming is done 1.5 to 2 m below sea level. Inland waterways which flow above land level are an amazing feature of this region, Enjoy the sunset & stay overnight on the houseboat.
Get ready for an exciting day of adventure with a delicious breakfast. A must-see scenic destination in Kovalam is the Lighthouse Beach, which is a must-see after you have breakfast. Silvery-white sands and coconut trees line the shoreline of this picturesque location. At the far end of this beach stands a 30-metre high lighthouse. Also, Kovalam Hawa Beach is a great place to get some much-needed sunshine and enjoy the lovely sunsets. Near the beach area are numerous markets where you can spend the rest of the day shopping.
