Itinerary
Welcome to Baku. On your arrival at the Azerbaijan International Airport, you would be met at the airport by our representatives and escorted to your hotel. After the check-in formalities are completed, the rest of the day is free for you to explore this windy capital of Azerbaijan on your own. Apart from being a historic city, Baku also hosts vibrant arts and cultural activities, so there is plenty to explore.

After breakfast, you begin your journey of discovering the ‘City of Winds’, Baku. The tour starts with walking through Baku Boulevard which stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. It traditionally starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond. The next stop is at Highland Park with fabulous views of the city, Caspian Sea and the ‘Flamer Towers’. The next stop on the itinerary is at a UNESCO-protected site and Baku’s medieval core, the Walled City of Baku for a sneak peek into the magic of days gone by. You visit the Maiden Tower, the Shirvanshahs’ Palace followed by a stop at the ‘Inner City, a labyrinth of narrow paths and alleyways and home to some of Baku’s oldest residents. Other attractions on the list include the Ferris Wheel for a spectacular view of the skyline, the International Mugham and “Baku Venice”. Post lunch the next stop is at the Carpet museum, which houses the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world (over 6,000!) followed by Fountain Square and the Heydar Aliyev Center. The last stop for the day is at the Philharmonia Garden-sometimes called Gubernator's or Governor's Park.
