Savor a hearty breakfast in the lodge before setting out for Lake Nakuru National Park, known as the world-famous sanctuary for pink flamingos. This shallow alkaline lake, nestled in Kenya's Rift Valley and spanning approximately 62 square kilometers, offers a mesmerizing spectacle of nature. Established in 1961 and officially gazetted as a National Park in 1968, Lake Nakuru National Park boasts Kenya's largest population of rhinos. The park encompasses Lion Hills, Makalia waterfalls, unique vegetation, picturesque landscapes, and yellow acacia woodlands, creating a diverse and captivating ecosystem. As part of the Great Rift Valley Lake System, the park holds ecological significance, earning the designation of a RAMSAR Site and Important Bird Area. Indulge in an early morning breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a thrilling game drive in the park. Capture the essence of the wilderness as you witness the vibrant wildlife in their natural habitat. Following the exhilarating game drive, make your way to Nairobi. Upon arrival, there's an option for a brief lunch stopover, allowing you to enjoy a meal at a city restaurant (arrangements and payment on-site). Later, proceed to the train station for your scheduled train journey to Mombasa. Alternatively, if time allows, you can opt for lunch at a city restaurant before heading to the train station. Once at the station, board the afternoon train to Mombasa. Upon arrival at the Mombasa train station, our representative will be ready to greet you and facilitate your transfer to your beachfront hotel. Relax and unwind as you settle into the coastal ambiance, ready to embrace the leisurely atmosphere of Mombasa.

Today is at leisure with an optional city tour available. (This needs to be arranged in advance and incurs an additional cost.)

Today will be at leisure and you are free to spend it the way you want to. It can either be sunning yourself on Nyali Beach or doing a spot of shopping in Mombasa.

Today you are also free to do as you please. We recommend visiting Mombasa’s Old Town or trying your hand at some water sports on the beach.

This is your last chance for a heavy dose of R and R! Spend your day whiling away the hours beneath the sun or head out and explore the city
